Vintage Dresser Restoration and Update

We found this piece at Goodwill for $60 and set about stripping all that glossy black paint. It was missing hardware, there was a lot of damage and unstable legs. I reinforced and repaired all the damage, found some nice updated hardware and chose a nice blue to complement the original mahogany stripe details on top and bottom. The drawers got new coats of lacquer, the original rails were waxed for smooth operation all the drawer box joints got reinforced.
